The sun shade fabric or weave as it is sometimes referred, is designed to provide a comfortable environment whilst allowing you to see outside. This works even when facing directly into the sun. Sola-Cure anti-glare fabric window boat blinds are perfect for:
- Bars and restaurants
- Lobby, Lounges, and reception areas
- Children’s play areas
- Gymnasiums
- Offices and meeting rooms
- Conservatories and Atriums
- Museums
- Airport terminal buildings
Glare: Glare from the sun when directly in line of sight, can spoil the view and impair visibility for workers, visitors, and customers. With our sunshade marine blinds, you can still enjoy wonderful views out to sea or over the landscape. This may be from a great seat in the bar or restaurant. It may be from the office workspace or whilst working out in a gymnasium.
In offices, Sola-Cure window boat blinds remove the sun’s glare from monitors and computer screens. This allows for greater flexibility in the placement of desks and workstations. Utilising and maximising the workspace justifies the low cost of our anti-glare blinds.
UV exposure: Exposure to ultraviolet rays is shown to cause long term damage to the eyes. UV also increases the risk of skin cancer, even through glass. This means that staff working in offices, leisure centres, airports, museums, and hotels are often exposed to the sun for many hours each day. Over a long period, the risk to staff is high. Employers have a duty of care to their staff and for a very low investment, staff are protected from personal harm. Employers are protected from that liability.
Fabric anti-glare blinds protect against UV. UV exposure causes fabrics, furnishings, and upholstery to fade quickly and ages the décor. This may mean that redecoration or replacement of furniture is needed sooner. For a small cost, UV reducing blinds provide a quick and obvious return on their investment.
Temperature control: Sola-Cure boat sunshades are extremely good at reducing the temperature inside and reducing air-conditioning demands. This is perfect for those seeking to reduce operating costs and overheads, whilst also reducing your carbon footprint. On the sea or on land, we are using glass increasingly on new buildings. Customers, visitors, and workers like to have views to the outside. These can be spoiled by an uncomfortable temperature inside. The great benefit of our perforated blinds is that unlike drapes being closed, the temperature can be reduced to a comfortable level whilst still being able to see out and enjoy the views. Also, unlike films glued to the glass, the blind can be retracted at night to prevent the film creating a mirror effect.
Privacy: Fabric marine sunscreens provide privacy where windows are in places where people outside are able to see in. This may be ground level offices, moored boats, gymnasiums, and children’s play areas. Those people inside can see out and the blinds allow natural light in. At the same time, they provide much needed daytime privacy.
Unlike other alternatives such as drapes or blackout blinds, those inside can still see out. Also, unlike permanent anti-glare films, the blinds can be pulled up and down as often as required. This is also a benefit if you are a tenant and the landlord does not allow permanent films.
